HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met with Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah at the ministry's headquarters in Putrajaya Friday.

The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral co-operation, particularly enhancing investments in food security, Islamic finance and the digital economy, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, led by developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, developments of the nuclear issue, and developments in Afghanistan. The meeting also dealt with Qatar's preparations to hold the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
