Qatar is participating in the five-day meetings of the 31st session of the Arab League's (AL) Economic and Social Council sub-committee for co-ordination and follow-up, convened in the Egyptian capital Cairo, QNA reported.
Qatar is represented at the meeting by the Ministry of Finance's Saud al-Ahbabi. It is being held with the participation of representatives of all Arab countries and specialised Arab organisations of the League of Arab States.
Director of the Arab Organisations and Federations Department at the Arab League Dr Mohamed Khair Abdelkader said in a statement yesterday that the session is set to discuss the plans and budget of the Arab specialised organisations for 2022-2023, in addition to the reports of the administrative financial control bodies, the final accounts, and a report on the accomplishments of Arab organisations in 2021.
