The Ministry of Municipality's Agriculture Quarantine offices examined 5,145 consignment weighing 129,845 tonnes of imported agriculture cargoes in May at the various entry points of the country. Accordingly, 37 consignments of these weighing 63.31 tonnes were destroyed for being infected with bugs at a high rate.
