Chiyoda Almana Engineering marked the company’s establishment day by organising a beach cleaning activity in collaboration with Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning.
A number of employees and their family members participated in the activity at Al Khor Beach near Gate 2 of Ras Laffan Industrial City, a statement said. Several bags of waste, including wood, plastic bottles, glasses and metals were collected.
Hirobe Toshikazu, managing director of Chiyoda Almana, expressed his pride and happiness in seeing the employees and their families participating in the event.
Chiyoda Almana, as a major contractor in Qatar's energy field, completed more than 450 projects since the company's establishment in 2008. In addition to several onshore LNG projects, the portfolio includes many projects that support environmental conservation and protection, including wastewater treatment, flare reduction projects and vegetable factory facility.
