Qatar Museums (QM) is offering members of the community free admission to explore its current exhibitions throughout the month of March.
Visitors are invited to enjoy free admission to a number of ongoing exhibitions, including 'Jeff Koons: Lost in America'; 'Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech'; 'Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams'; and 'Kader Attia: On Silence'.

Students partake in an array of creative activities revolving around Qatar’s culture and natural environment. The virtual workshop inspires students to explore their artistic inclinations in drawing, painting, and clay molding. For more information about the workshop, teachers can email [email protected]
2. Family Saturday: Discovering Qatar’s Vernacular Architecture; Saturday, March 5, from 4pm to 6pm.
Children aged seven and older, together with their families, plunge into Qatar’s unique vernacular architecture, identify its decorative elements and learn about its adaptation to local environment. Taking inspiration from the architectural models on display at NMoQ, participants use mixed media to craft their own masjid. For more information, one has to email [email protected]
3. The History of Architecture in Qatar; Mondays, March 7 and 14 (Arabic) from 4pm to 5pm; and Thursdays March 10 and 17 (English) from 4pm to 5pm.
"Have you always been intrigued by traditional Qatari architecture? This tour introduces participants aged 16 and older to the styles and characteristics unique to the country’s architecture demonstrated via the museum’s models of forts, mosques and houses," Qatar Museums said in a statement.

4. 3 Year’s On: An Anniversary Celebration; Saturday, March 26 from 10am to 6pm.
Children and families can revel in a day-long series of special events marking three years of the iconic NMoQ. Art workshops, behind-the-scenes tours, Ramadan-themed live demonstrations, in addition to puppet shows, competitions and scavenger hunt are some of the activities participants can look forward to. 5. Architectural Model Making; Thursdays, March 10, 17, and 24 (Arabic and English) from 5pm to 7pm.
Through this short course, participants aged 15 to 18 years discover the essential role of architectural sketches and models in the creation of buildings that make an impression.
