The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of Omar Al Mokhtar Street lanes at Al Taawon Intersection in the direction of 5/6 Interchange, while keeping right turns and one lane in the opposite direction open for traffic from 1.30am to 5am on Monday. The closure, which will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate. has been announced in order to complete ITS installation. During this time, road users heading towards 5/6 Interchange can turn right towards the street known as Neewat Hashaf Street then make a U-turn at the next intersection to return to Al Taawon Intersection and continue onto their destinations.
