The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the General Cleanliness Department and in co-ordination with the municipalities concerned, removed a number of trees that had fallen due to the strong winds that the country witnessed recently.
The focus was on main roads in various regions of the country, in order to facilitate traffic and movement in those places.
According to an official press statement from the ministry, field work teams of the department continued their efforts to remove all trees that have fallen due to the winds in order to ensure public safety and preserve the landscape of the country, with a particular focus was on different areas in Doha and Al Rayyan.
