Bangla Tigers cliched the Bangladesh Community T10 Cricket Tournament as they defeated Prime Gladiators by 17 run in the final at the Lusail Cricket Ground.
The tournament, which marked the celebration of the Qatar National Day and the Victory Day of Bangladesh, was organised jointly by the Bangladesh Community Qatar and the Qatar Cricket Association (QCA). Emon and Yasin exhibited some fiery batting and helped Bangla Tigers get 118 for two on the board. Emon blasted two sixes and six boundaries in 24-ball 53 and Yasin’s 26-ball 41 not out contained one six and four boundaries.
Faisal and Mahboob shared the wickets. Prime Gladiators struggled throughout the chase and could reply with only 101 for eight. Saif and Arman pocketed two wickets each, while Sanad and Arif nabbed one each.
Faisal was the top run-maker for Prime Gladiators. His 34 included one six and five fours. Roni made 15 off eight balls. QCA Schools Cricket Head Amin-ul Islam was the chief guest and presented the trophies.
