Weather inshore until 6pm on Monday will be scattered clouds to partly cloudy at times and chance of rain maybe thundery at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea.

Offshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at times, the report added.

Wind inshore will be variable less than 5 knot at first, becomes northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot gusting 30 knot with thundery rain. Offshore, it will be mainly southeasterly to southwesterly 05 to 15 knot, gusting to 32 knot with thundery rain.

Visibility will be 4 to 8/3 kilometre or less with thundery rain.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 5 feet at times, offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 9 feet with thundery rain.
