Bangiya Parishad Qatar (BPQ), in association with the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), recently organised a cultural event titled 'Bharat Bhagya Bidhata' as part of 'Bande Bharat Festival' in order to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, in line with Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Dr Deepak Mittal, Indian ambassador to Qatar, graced the occasion, among others. The event was attended by ICC president P N Baburajan and the ICC managing committee team.
In his welcome speech, Bangiya Parishad Qatar president Biswajit Banerji thanked Dr Mittal for his presence and inaugurating the cultural fiesta. He also thanked ICC for inviting BPQ to be a part of the event.
Sudhir Gupta, joint secretary of the ICC, congratulated the winners of the Gandhi Jayanti quiz competition.
