HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida al-Kaabi said while natural gas prices are an outcome of basic market fundamentals including supply and demand, the current price levels observed in global gas markets are unhealthy for both producers and consumers. He said this in talks with Kadri Simson, the European Union Commissioner for Energy. Discussions during the meeting, which was held virtually, dealt with various aspects of co-operation in the energy field between Qatar and the European Union, and means to enhance them.
