Hamad International Airport will be conducting a full-scale emergency exercise on October 5, as part of its commitment to ensure a high level of preparedness in safety and security matters.
The exercise will be conducted in co-ordination with partners and stakeholders including Qatar Airways Group, Amiri Flight, MATAR, Qatar Executive, Qatar Aircraft Catering Company, Qatar Aviation Services, Airport Customs, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Transport & Communications, Ministry of Defence, Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service, Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, Qatar Red Crescent Society, Qatar Tourism and Qatar State Agencies.
The exercise will involve an unlawful interference incidentand will test how effectively airport partners, stakeholders, and government agencies respond to the emergency scenario.
The simulation, which will commence at approximately 10am and end at 1pm, is not likely to interrupt normal airport operations.
