The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE)’s Private Education Affairs Sector has honoured 47 volunteers from the ‘Pioneers of Voluntary Work’ initiative, at a ceremony held at the Scout and Guide Association of Qatar.
This came in appreciation for the efforts by the volunteers throughout the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, during which they helped ensure that precautionary and preventative measures were followed in private schools and kindergartens during the last academic year.
A number of officials were present on the occasion.
