The third shipment of medical aid (Moderna's Covid-19 vaccines) provided by Qatar to Paraguay arrived Saturday at Asuncion International Airport.
Attending the delivery of the aid was Paraguay's Minister of Foreign Relations Euclides Acevedo; Strategic Affairs Adviser at the Presidency Federico Gonzalez, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare Lida Sosa; Paraguayan ambassador to Qatar Angel Barchini; and Acting Charges D'affaires at Qatar's embassy in Asuncion Said bin Hamad al-Marri.
The foreign minister expressed his thanks to Qatar's government and people for their donations and solidarity with the Paraguayan people in difficult times.
He praised the strength of bilateral relations and the two countries' leadership, stressing that the Paraguayan people will not forget the aid.
The strategic affairs advisor also expressed his thanks to Qatar's government and people for the aid that arrived at a time when Paraguay is facing a severe crisis, praising bilateral ties.

The acting charge d'affaires at the Qatari embassy praised bilateral ties and stressed that Qatar always rushes to aid friendly countries.
