The operations department at the General Directorate of Civil Defence Friday carried a mock evacuation exercise for employees working at Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) tweeted.
The exercise comes within the evacuation operations series supervised by the directorate to ensure the preparedness of such facilities, and to train the staff in dealing with fire and other accidents, improve the response speed and to spread safety awareness, the MoI said.
