A student of Birla Public School (BPS) recently attempted to enter the Limca Book of Records for most dinosaur species identified in a minute at an event hosted by Indian Cultural Centre (ICC). Six-year-old Reyaansh Sandip Pardeshi identified 85 species of dinosaurs out of 150 in one minute. The attempt was witnessed by two independent juries –Hameeda Kadar, principal of MES Indian School, and M P Philip, principal of Bhavans Public School, and two timekeepers – Abhijit Shankar and Suresh P. The function was inaugurated by ICC president P N Babu Rajan and hosted by Kamla Thakur, ICC head of activity co-ordinator & education. Sweta Koshti, head of cultural activities, Sajeev Sathyaseelan, head of affiliation and membership; Subramanya Hebbagelu, ICC vice president, and other committee members also took part in conducting the event. The organisers said the previous record was of 45 species of dinosaurs identified in one minute.
