The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's General Cleanliness Department has removed all the waste generated by the winter camping season from various areas across the country. Three days of intensive efforts from May 21, at a rate of 11 hours a day, covered the northern and western beaches of the country in addition to land sites. As much as 18,778 tonnes of waste materials were removed in 1,189 batches using 56 vehicles and equipment.
