MES Indian School conducted a function on Mother’s Day. Teachers attired in red presented a bouquet to principal Hameeda Kadar.

There was a special cultural programme through Zoom wherein students sang songs and gave speeches glorifying the roles played by mothers.

There was also a PowerPoint presentation highlighting remarkable achievements of MES under Kadar's leadership.

Grade-V students presented a fancy dress show.

The VI graders made greeting cards for their mothers while students of grade-VII and VIII prepared poems glorifying motherhood.

Grade-IX and X students performed short skits on Mother’s Day.

Students of Grade-XI prepared ‘Wealth out of Wastes’ to gift their mothers while XII graders created two- minute videos conveying a message for their mothers.

The students also recited poems written by them during a virtual assembly.

Speaking on the occasion, the principal stressed that mothers are the epitome of love and sacrifice in everyone’s life and undoubtedly the most trusted driving force in every family.

She expressed deep appreciation for the efforts by the students to make the day special.

Vice principals and heads of section, head of academic inspection, school officials also congratulated the students and applauded their creativity.
