The Sri Lankan Community Welfare Federation Qatar’s (CWF-Qatar) Exco members held a meeting with new Sri Lankan ambassador Mafaz Mohideen to welcome him to the country.
CWF-Qatar serves Sri Lankan community members in Qatar and has a large number of members who benefit from its services.
It also provides assistance with all necessary funeral procedures for Sri Lankans in Qatar.
The ambassador appreciated the services of CWF Qatar and said the embassy will try its best to solve issues facing the Sri Lankan community members during the Covid-19 pandemic.
In particular, they support those trying to travel back to Sri Lanka.
The ambassador said there was some delay in providing services due to fewer staff members at the embassy but efforts are on to solve these issues, a CWF-Qatar statement said."CWF-Qatar would like to convey its heartfelt thanks to Mafaz Mohideen," the statement added.
