The Shura Council has organised a training programme for a number of the Council’s employees on parliamentary work and its strategic importance for Qatar, as well as the organisation of parliamentary events and preparing reports, in co-operation with Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.
Assistant Director for Public Relations and Communication at the office of the Shura Council Speaker, Misfir al-Shahwani said that the programme has been made at the instructions of HE the Shura Council Speaker Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud, in the framework of the Council’s plan for preparing and developing young national cadres in different aspects of parliamentary work. Comprising a number of courses, the programme is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of young cadres and acquainting them with the latest methods of parliamentary work and events organisation, al-Shahwani noted.
He stressed the importance of supporting young Qatari cadres and developing their capacities in various fields.
