HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi praised the quality of work being done in the distance education system in terms of filming and directing to provide interactive lessons on scientific subjects that is  attractive to the students.
This came during a visit by HE the Minister to Abu Hanifa Kindergarten for Boys, one of the centers devoted to the distance education system, which produces video lessons and educational materials, and is broadcasted via Microsoft Teams.
During the visit, HE the Minister was briefed on the latest equipment for video graphing the lessons and the system of continuous assessment of students, the role of female teachers in schools, mechanisms for communicating with parents, and the technical equipment available that guarantee the quality of system.
HE Al Hammadi praised the male and female teachers who record the lessons, the coordinators, and the educational mentors, hailing the spirit of teamwork shown in ensuring coordination between the early education work team and the e-learning team. He stressed the importance of taking utmost care and caution by the work teams, and taking all precautions during preparing and producing video lessons.
"We are taking up a great responsibility and the duty requires that we continue with the same diligence for the continuation of the educational process in a way that ensures the continuation of our sons and daughters in their educational and cognitive achievement, so there isn't an educational gap that could affect them when they move to the following levels of education," said HE the Minister Al Hammadi.

"I thank all of you for what you are doing under this current circumstance, what you are doing is not less than the great roles our brothers and colleagues play in the health and security sectors and the rest of the state," he added.

The distance education system has many advantages, such as flexibility, as these lessons are available in illustrated forms and electronic exercises that the student can solve and watch them again at any time.
It also provides the ability to interact and communicate with the teacher, while providing the main source of learning (textbooks for study materials) in PDF format, in addition to more supportive videos, as well as providing a set of sample answers for parents.
The Education Ministry is working to provide technical support to implement distance learning for schools or parents in the event of any obstacles or challenges in this system.
