Talabat, the largest online food ordering platform in the Middle East, yesterday said "rumours about its platform being hacked are completely false".
Talabat informed in a statement that "bank details of customers are not saved in its platform as online payment occurs through trusted gateways that ensure all personal information is always secure".
"Appropriate legal action will be taken against those responsible for circulating this rumour," the statement added.
