Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) continues its expansion in the local market with the opening of the new - and second - Huawei showroom in Qatar at Al Watan Center, Doha.
The grand opening of the Huawei showroom last Thursday was led by senior executives from Huawei and Intertec Group, the sole authorised distributor of Huawei mobiles in Qatar.
Following the design outlines of Huawei Experience Stores, the new showroom “consolidates Huawei’s long-standing position as a leader of technology, innovative devices and exceptional products as well as a one-stop destination for consumers in Doha”, according to a press statement. 
The showroom will offer “a comprehensive retail experience” to optimise customers’ engagement and provide access to Huawei’s latest products, trained technical staff and an in-house service centre - all under one roof, the statement notes. 
the Huawei showroom showcases a wide range of smartphones, smartwatches, Freebuds, MBBs, other IoT products and more. According to the GfK November 2019 report, Huawei CBG Qatar ranked second by sales units in terms of smartphone brand share.

At the opening ceremony, George Thomas, CFO and adviser to the chairman, Intertec Group, said: “The opening of the new showroom will help us bring the Huawei experience closer to our customers in the most popular mobile market in Doha.”
Asraf N K, divisional manager of Intertec Group, added: “With the opening of our new showroom at Al Watan Center, we now have a very strong presence in the central mobile market in Doha, which is easily reachable for a larger consumer base and brings us closer to our customers. We will continue to ensure that Huawei’s premium products are easily accessible and experienced by our consumers in Qatar, and look forward to the next chapter for the brand in Qatar.”
The new showroom will have exclusive inaugural offers and promotions this month.
Huawei CBG recently launched the Huawei Mate30 Pro 5G in Qatar, which offers an “immersive viewing experience” with the Kirin 990 5G providing “unrivalled levels of performance, power, energy efficiency, AI capabilities and photography”, in addition to supporting 2G/3G/4G/5G full Net communication, 5G NSA (non-standalone network) and 5G SA (standalone network), the statement adds. 
The Mate30 Pro 5G is now available at Huawei showrooms across Qatar.
