HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud, yesterday met the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Gabriela Cuevas Barron, on the sidelines of the 141st General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, in Belgrade. During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest were reviewed, particularly those related to co-operation in parliamentary and legislative fields, as well as the topics on the agenda of the IPU General Assembly.
