HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari met separately with the Minister of Public Health of Cuba, Dr Roberto Morales, Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, David Sergeenko, and Clemens Martin Auer, Special Envoy for Health in Austria, Candidate for Regional Director of the European Region of the World Health Organisation (WHO), on the sidelines of the WHO World Health Assembly in Geneva.
During the meetings, they discussed promoting relations in the health field. In addition, they discussed a number of topics of common interest.
HE al-Kuwari also met separately with the President of the Union for International Cancer Control, Princess Dina Mired, Executive Director of UNITAID Dr Lelio Marmora and vice-president of BioCubaFarma Mayda Mauri Perez.
During the meetings, they discussed promoting Qatar’s relations with the entities, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.
