Auto Class Cars, the authorised general distributor of Maxus in Qatar and a subsidiary company of Nasser Bin Khaled Holding, has signed a partnership deal with adventures platform ‘XTORK’ - providing them with the Maxus T60 4x4 pick-up to support their operations.
The agreement comes as part of the collaboration between the two parties, allowing ‘XTORK’ to perform their tasks easily and with a comfortable driving experience, Auto Class Cars has said in a press statement.
The Maxus T60 is a 4x4 pick up that is globally recognised for its high performance and 5-star safety ranking, the statement noted.
Hisham al-Sahn, general manager of Auto Class Cars, said: “Auto Class Cars and Maxus are pleased to support sports and adventures in Qatar. This high-performing pick up will be a perfect fit for  ‘XTORK’ to meet their adventure needs and operations. This is part of our social responsibility and national mandate, and we are proud to be associated with such initiatives that are dedicated to youth in Qatar.”
Hassan Nabil al-Hassan,  ‘XTORK’ director, added: “We are happy to partner with Auto Class Cars to have the Maxus T60 in our fleet to support our extreme sports equipment transport. The Maxus T60 is a pickup that has high capabilities on winding roads, washboard roads as well as mountain climbing, during which it has displayed excellent performance in comparison to other pickups in its category, the statement pointed out.
The Maxus T60 became the first Chinese-manufactured utility to score five stars on the ANCAP rating, making it one of the safest cars in its category. With top scores in all segments, the ANCAP report shows the Maxus T60 scored high grades in all tests with an overall score of 35.46 out of 37.
The Maxus T60 is powered by a 2.4-litre inline-4 naturally aspirated petrol engine with 136 horsepower. It also comes with advanced 2.8T VM turbo diesel engines, featuring 110KW of power and a maximum 360NM of torque.
