Transport services provider Mowasalat has announced the launch of a new bus service to Hamad International Airport (HIA).
It has also made changes in the services of route No 737.
In a service advisory posted on its Twitter page, Mowasalat said the new route - 757 - is being introduced in response to passenger requests and high demand for bus services to HIA, while changes are being made on route No 737, with effect from January 13.
Route 757 will operate 24 hours, running every 30 minutes from 4am to 11pm and every one hour from 11pm to 4am.
Places covered by the service include HIA, Al Matar Street, Al Matar Al Qadeem Street, D-Ring Road, Najma Street, Abha Street and Al Mansoura Street, before it heads back to HIA, according to the advisory.
As for No 737, services on this route will also operate every 30 minutes from 4am to 11pm, and every one hour from 11pm to 4am. Buses will ply 24 hours on this route.
