The Qatar Chapter of the Institution of Engineers of India (IEI) recently held a technical seminar at Oryx Rotana. Abdul Sathar, Chairman of IEI, welcomed the gathering speaking about the role of IEI in professional development of its members.
Rishi S Iyengar, Vice President of Marsh Qatar, conducted the technical seminar on ‘Risk and Insurance in Construction Projects’. The seminar emphasised on identifying and managing risks along with the types of risks inherent in construction projects. He also explained about various types of insurance choices for construction projects in Qatar. The seminar was sponsored by Marsh Qatar LLC. Abdul Sathar and Seenu Pillai, President of ASHRAE - Qatar Chapter, presented mementos to Rishi S Iyengar. The event was compered by Sunil Kulkarni, Executive Member of IEI. Sajith George, Treasurer IEI, thanked the members for making the event successful.
