Ooredoo has announced that a better Wi-Fi connection is now available for all customers on its Fibre Broadband plans thanks to the launch of the Netgear Orbi Hub.
The Netgear Orbi Hub is the “simplest and smartest way yet to deliver Wi-Fi coverage and is ideal for apartments and smaller properties”, Ooredoo has said in a statement.
The Orbi device uses the latest technology in terms of Tri-Band Wi-Fi and provides Wi-Fi coverage of up to 200sqm.
The Netgear Orbi Hub complements the recently launched Netgear Orbi Dual package and is currently being sold by Ooredoo exclusively as a solution for customers with large villas and properties.
The Netgear Orbi Dual product can provide Wi-Fi coverage of up to 350sqm and accommodate up to 900sqm with the addition of
further satellite units.
The Netgear Orbi Wi-Fi hub was designed to be the ideal service for Ooredoo Fibre customers who are streaming films or music, and gaming, as it has the ability to connect more than 20 devices at once. The Orbi comes with a single Wi-Fi name and therefore customers can enjoy a single Wi-Fi network name for their entire home.
The Netgear App also allows customers to personalise their Wi-Fi system, manage their Wi-Fi settings, share network credentials, see a list of all connected devices, and easily setup separate Internet access for guests.
The Orbi Wi-Fi hub is priced at QR35 per month for 24 months and is available on all new Fibre Broadband plans.
