As the official sponsor, Ooredoo will provide support for the upcoming ‘Save the Dream Legends Match’, which will take place from 3pm to 6pm tomorrow. The charity match will include a host of famous faces and sporting legends and aims to spread the message of hope and opportunities to children through sport.
Save the Dream is a global charity that implements and promotes activities to empower youth through safe access to sport and to its educational and social values. Through these activities, Save the Dream aims to develop skills, instil ethics and promote social innovation, among others.
Ooredoo Qatar PR and Corporate Communications director Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi said, “Ooredoo is delighted to be supporting Majlis Qatar in Russia and promoting the amazing legends match with Save the Dream.
“We believe in sponsoring sporting activities, both internationally and at home in Qatar, to inspire our customers to live an active lifestyle and back the next-generation of sporting stars.”
Save the Dream executive director Massimiliano Montanari added, “We would like to extend special and heartfelt thanks to Ooredoo for the continuous support to our mission.
“We have organised together this Football Legends Match at Majlis Qatar, a great opportunity brought to us by Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, not to entertain but to send, from Moscow during the World Cup, a powerful message on the role of sport to empower most underprivileged children and to strengthen the bridge, worldwide, between mega events and sport at the grassroots level.”
Ooredoo customers can watch full live coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup via the new beIN 2018 FIFA World Cup Package on Ooredoo tv.
