Candyland comes to life at Doha Festival City mall this summer

Doha Festival City has announced that it will bring to life Candyland World, “for the first time ever”, and also witness the launch of its new Kids Club.
The entertainment, fashion and dining destination is “set to transform into a summer haven for families and shoppers alike” as part of the 2018 Qatar Summer Festival, Doha Festival City has said in a statement. “The action-packed summer is jammed with activities for both children and adults, with eye-popping scenes perfect for spectacular Instagram images and fun Snapchat updates,” the statement notes.
Candyland will be the setting of Doha Festival City’s first ever Kids Club on July 12, where children sign up for their own membership benefits and obtain their own Kids Club card and a special backpack with Kids Club gifts. Members will be provided with special discounts between 15% and 25% at more than 30 stores to purchase much loved items from beloved retailers, including Mamas and Papas, GAP, Caboodle, Hannah Anderson and others.
Through the Kids Club, children will also get invited to exclusive event and activities throughout the year, as well as receiving special gifts after a certain number of touch points on their personal Kids Club card. “From July 12 to 28, visitors can enjoy the sweetest treat of them all, as Doha Festival City brings the first ever Candyland to Qatar,” the statement adds. The interactive sweet room, and the Gingerbread Playhouse, will contain giant ice lollies, candy canes and other sugary delights, providing fairytale-esque setting for the whole family to delight in. “With pools filled with sprinkles and marshmallows, visitors with a sweet tooth will be in their very own dreamland.”
Following are the Candyland activation details: July 12 to 28 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), from 4pm to 8pm (except on the launch day of Kids Club, when the timings are from 3pm to 9pm), Centre Court, ground floor, for children aged four to 12 years.
