Katara - the Cultural Village to conclude its Eid celebrations Monday after presenting daily shows featuring the Police Band, fireworks and gifts distribution.
Katara also hosted an Iraqi cultural event on Saturday evening in co-operation with the Iraqi embassy. The event was attended by a number of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions, Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Protocol Department director Ibrahim Fakhro, and a large number of Iraqi and other expatriates.
The Iraqi ambassador Abdulsatar al-Janabi expressed his thanks to Katara and pointed out that work is progressing on the Iraqi Culture Week, to be held later this year at Katara, featuring various performances and shows.
