A golf coaching camp organised by Indian Sports Centre at the Doha Golf Club concluded recently. 
Twenty five golf enthusiasts attended the two months long coaching camp under the tutorship of PGA professional Chris Nicholls. 
The event was organised by Manoj Megchiani, ISC committee member and co-ordinated by golf enthusiast Sanjay Jain. To commemorate the occasion and introduce the new golfers to competitive golf in a friendly manner, a tournament was organised by Qatar Golf Lovers over the weekend followed by a graduation ceremony at the Doha Golf Club. 
The competition was played on a Scramble format where three new golfers teamed up with a senior golfer who guided the beginners on the rules and etiquettes of the game. 
The team headed by Ravi Shankar was declared winners, other team members being Gopal Subramanian, Asim Anwar & Raja Gopalakrishnan. 
The team comprising of JB Roy, Ahsan Pachisa & Rukhaiya Pachisa were the runners up. Qatar Golf Lovers hosted a dinner for all golfers and captain PK Mathew gave away prizes to the two winning teams. 
Coach Chris Nicholls gave away completion certificates to all new golfers and wished them happy golfing in years to come.
