His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani chaired the third meeting of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment in 2018 at Al Bahr Palace on Wednesday evening.
The meeting was attended by His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Council, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, who is also the Executive Member of the Council, and the members of the Council.
The Council discussed the topics on the agenda, took appropriate decisions, and reviewed the latest developments of the strategy of the Free Zones Authority, in addition to the latest developments in the fields of energy and investment.
The Council also briefed on the most important projects of the eGovernment Steering Committee and the strategic objectives of the Qatar Smart Program "Tasmu".
