His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met yesterday evening with the visiting Omani Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah. At the beginning of the meeting at Al Bahr Palace, Alawi conveyed greetings of Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman to the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity. For his part, the Amir entrusted the Omani minister to convey his greetings to Sultan Qaboos, wishing him good health and well-being and the brotherly Omani people more progress and prosperity. The meeting reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to boost them as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
