His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met at Al Bahr Palace on Monday evening with Costa Rica's ambassador Luis Alberto Guillen Downing who called on him to greet His Highness after the end of his term in office.
The Amir awarded the ambassador Al Wajba Medal in recognition of his role in contributing to enhancing bilateral relations, wishing the ambassador success in his future missions, and the relations between the two countries further progress and development.
For his part, the ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Amir and the State's officials for the co-operation he received which contributed to the success of his work in the country.
