His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met with the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah at Dasman Palace in Kuwait on Monday.
At the outset of the meeting, the Amir and the Kuwaiti Amir exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They also discussed ways to support the well-established fraternal relations and the close ties between the two brotherly peoples and countries.
They also discussed a host of regional and international issues and developments.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, and a number of ministers and Sheikhs.
On the Kuwaiti side, the meeting was attended by the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khaled al-Jarrah al-Sabah, and a number of senior officials.

From the Kuwaiti side the Iftar banquet was attended by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, ministers and senior officials and dignitaries.
Upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport, the Amir was welcomed by the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and senior ministers, dignitaries, Charge de'Affairs in Qatar's Embassy in Kuwait Ali Jaber al- Marri, Kuwait's Ambassador to Qatar Hafeez Mohamed al- Ajmi and members of the Qatari embassy.
The Amir and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure at Kuwait International Airport by the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and other dignitaries.
The Amir returned to Doha on Monday evening from the brotherly State of Kuwait.
