The recently launched Northumbria University, UK in Qatar has started accepting admission applications for its Fall’18 session.
 The move is in line with the recent announcement of Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) on tying up with Northumbria University, UK to offer degrees in Accounting, Finance & Investments and International Banking & Finance, which have been approved by Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education. 
The university is located at QFBA, West Bay. “This is an important opportunity for high school graduates who are looking for a university degree from a UK-based university located in Qatar,” a press statement noted. 
The last date for submission of applications is August 31, 2018 as the academic session starts from September. 
Dr Mohamed Abdullah al-Emadi, acting CEO of QFBA, said: “Our partnership with Northumbria University is a sign of the changing education landscape in Qatar and offers Qatar’s next generation a world-class global institution to learn and grow. The Fall session will be the first academic session for this university in Qatar and I am sure we will be receiving quite a number of applications for admissions from our future talents.”
Professor John Wilson, pro vice-chancellor for the Faculty of Business and Law at Northumbria University, said: “Our  partnership with QFBA will provide the academy’s undergraduate students as well as graduates with excellent courses that will help them develop their knowledge and enable them to compete in the global labour market.”
