Ooredoo will be offering special discounts and tailor-made value packages to retired customers in Qatar on a range of products, including the data packs, Ooredoo tv and Shahry lines in partnership with the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority.
“The offer is Ooredoo’s way of thanking Qatari retired customers for their hard work and lifetime service to this country,” the company has said in a release. 
The company has also launched a “special offer” for its retired customers available during the holy month of Ramadan, giving them the opportunity to benefit from the retirees’ offer on up to four Ooredoo lines registered under the retiree’s name. To qualify for the discount, retirees simply need to take their valid retiree ID card to an Ooredoo Shop. New and existing Ooredoo customers can enjoy the discount, which will offer an “amazing” 50% off on monthly communications packs, Fibre Internet and more. Retirees will be able to “enjoy great discounts” on Ooredoo’s Shahry and Qatarna Packs, with the Shahry 250 pack for QR125 (usually QR250), Qatarna 350 pack for QR175 (QR350), and Qatarna 850 pack for QR425 (QR850).
Retirees wanting to enjoy access to Ooredoo’s ‘Endless Internet Packs’ can do so starting at just QR10 for 250 MB (usually QR20), QR45 for an 8GB pack (QR90) and just QR250 for an ‘Endless pack’ (QR500). For Retirees looking to enjoy Internet at home, alongside “world-class” entertainment, a 50% discount on the new Fibre Home Entertainment plans is also available, meaning they can connect their home to 30Mbps Fibre speeds, enjoy Ooredoo tv, STARZ PLAY and beIN SPORTS access all for QR200 per month (usually QR400).
