Ooredoo, one of the region’s leading ICT providers, has been recognised by global technology leader Cisco as one of the Middle East’s leading enablers of cloud-based digital transformation.
During Cisco’s recent first annual Middle East-West Region Partner Summit, Cisco recognised Ooredoo as ‘Partner of the Year for Cloud and Managed Services.’ The judges lauded Ooredoo for accelerating cloud and managed services adoption and growth in Qatar.
On behalf of Ooredoo, chief business officer Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani led a delegation that accepted the award during the Partner Summit ceremony.
Ooredoo COO Yousuf Abdulla al-Kubaisi said, “We appreciate Cisco’s recognition of our commitment to bringing the latest cloud and managed services technologies to Qatar, supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030’s goals for economic growth and job creation. Our Qatar Data Centre’s solutions enable our business customers to drive digital transformation and new business models.”
Cisco’s recognition enhances the strong ties between Ooredoo and Cisco. Ooredoo is a Cisco Gold Partner, supporting organisations to adopt industry-leading Cisco technology solutions running on the Ooredoo Supernet.
Cisco Qatar general manager Shane Heraty said, “Ooredoo is one of the Middle East’s leaders in providing the most advanced cloud and managed services to its business customers. Cloud and managed services are the foundation for Qatar’s nationwide digital transformation, and for organisations to optimise costs, scale up and become more agile, and free up staff to focus on innovation.”
Business customers can leverage the Ooredoo advantage, making Ooredoo “best for business,” thanks to its breadth and depth of talent, best fixed and mobile networks, broadest portfolio of ICT services and solutions, and trusted partner for 60 years.
