Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), the exclusive distributor of Lexus in Qatar, has launched the first official Lexus F Club.
The launch was attended by owners of Lexus F and F Sport models, along with new club members, journalists, and social media influencers.
The guests were welcomed by acting chief executive R K Murugan on behalf of AAB, who thanked them for their support and wished them happy driving.
Lexus senior marketing manager Firas Mufti briefed the attendees on the club’s objectives: “The whole purpose of the club is to build a community for thrill-seekers and have them participate, on a regular basis, in get-togethers and different functions, where they can compare each other’s rides and interact with other F owners from around the country.”
During the adrenaline-fuelled event at the Losail International Circuit, the new club members enjoyed a full day of thrills, driving their vehicles and test-driving high-performance Lexus F models, enabling drivers of all skill levels to “relish driving pleasure and a satisfying performance at all times”.
Offering a platform for owners and enthusiasts of Lexus F and F Sport models to connect and engage, the Lexus F Club will offer a wide range of benefits and rewards to members, including discounted prices on vehicles and car rentals from AAB, offers on services and products from the Moteri Auto Care Centre, and invitations to special Lexus events and activities, AAB has said in a press statement.
In addition, they will receive a complimentary miniature die-cast model of a Lexus RC F, a copy of The Art of Lexus book, and a Lexus-branded laser pen.
Lexus F models are born out of a “relentless passion for driving, capturing the essence of Lexus F, its fast and dynamic response, high efficiency and seamless performance on everyday roads and racetracks that can be enjoyed by everyone, safely”.
The first model of the high-performance F brand, Lexus IS F, marked a shift in the automotive industry with its craftsmanship and engineering, when it launched in 2006 after intensive testing on Fuji Speedway.
The Lexus IS F was followed by the ground-breaking LFA supercar in 2009.
Currently, Lexus offers two F brand models, the RC F Coupe and the four-door luxury sports sedan GS F.
