His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani sent yesterday a cable of congratulations to Lebanese President General Michel Aoun on the occasion of the successful parliamentary elections held recently in Lebanon, wishing him good health and happiness and the brotherly Lebanese people further progress and prosperity. His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani also sent similar cable to President Aoun.

Cables of condolences to Cyprus leader
 His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent cables of condolences to the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, on the death of his mother.
