Ooredoo has announced that all Ooredoo Money customers will now earn money when referring new or existing Ooredoo Money customers to send an international remittance.
Ooredoo Money customers can now refer a friend to use Ooredoo Money and earn an incentive every time their friend sends money home using Ooredoo Money. The reward money will be deposited directly into their Ooredoo Money Wallet and customers can refer as many friends they want.
To add friends to the referral list, customers simply need to click on the “Add Referral” option in the “Ooredoo Money” app or via the easy USSD Menu by dialling *140#.
Referrers will earn QR3 per transaction for the first three international money transfers successfully completed by their referred friends. Friends referred must not have already completed three international money transfers since their registration for Ooredoo Money. If they have completed one transaction before referral then referrer will enjoy the incentive for two transactions only.
This promotion is available for international transfers through MoneyGram, Al Dar Exchange and Ooredoo Exchange. The promotion will run until June 4.
Anyone with a valid QID and Ooredoo mobile number can register for an Ooredoo Money Wallet. Ooredoo Money can be used to send money home internationally to 200 countries and territories with the lowest fee and one of the best exchange rates in Qatar, send money locally to any mobile wallet or bank, make a Hala top-up, pay Shahry bills, purchase data or Dawli card, transfer money from any bank account in Qatar to wallet, among many others.
The Ooredoo Money App is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play store and has language options in English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali, Tagalog and Nepali.
