The Falcon 20 exercise has been launched under the patronage of HE Staff Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces. The launch event was attended by a number of Qatar Armed Forces commanders and officers. The exercise is considered one of the most important annual exercises held by the Qatar Emiri Air Force and will see the participation of the Turkish Air Force, the Directorate of Defence Communication at the Ministry of Defence has said in a statement. The Qatar Emiri Air Force is participating in the exercise with Mirage and Alpha Jet aircraft, in addition to different types of helicopters. The Turkish forces are participating with F-16 jets and a team covering various specialties, as part of the exchange of experiences between the two parties. The exercise continues until April 29.
