MEC recalls Mazda CX9 and Mazda 2 models of 2007-2015
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with the National Car Company, has announced the recall of Mazda CX9 and Mazda 2 models of 2007-2015 over the possibility of a defect in the front airbags inflators.
The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that automobile dealers follow up on vehicles’ defects and repair them.
The ministry said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued yesterday an instrument of accession approving the accession of Qatar to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
The Emir also issued an instrument of accession approving the accession of Qatar to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued yesterday an instrument of ratification, approving a memorandum of understanding for co-operation in the field of security between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Interior of Iraq, signed in Doha on 13/03/2018.

QCB chief meets team from Guinea

HE the Governor of Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud al-Thani discussed means of boosting bilateral co-operation between Qatar and Guinea, especially in the banking sector, during a meeting held by the QCB governor with a Guinean delegation, currently visiting Doha.
The Guinean delegation consisted of a number of officials, including Minister of State Ibrahima Kassory Fofana, Central Bank of Guinea Governor Lounceny Nabe and Counselor to the Guinean President Don Mello. (QNA)
