Indian Sports Centre (ISC) organised the first ever, ISC-Gulf Light Softball Inter Organisation Cricket Tournament at the Old Ideal Indian School Ground with 12 teams participating in the tournament.
The opening ceremony saw the presence of Gulf Lights managing director Sanaullah Abdulrehman, representatives of all the participating teams, ISC’s Patron Council chairman and head of Cricket Azim Abbas, ISC general secretary Mohamed Habibun Nabi, tournament coordinator Deepak Shetty, head of Indoor Games Simon D’Souza, head of Yoga Nisha Agarwal and other dignitaries.
The teams taking part in the tournament include Engineer Forum, Tulukoota, TRAQ, QDC, SKMWA, QTS, Utkalika, KMCA, Medgulf, PAI, MMQ and ICAI. 
The first two matches of the tournament were won by TRAQ and QDC respectively.
The final will be played on Friday. On the same day, the yearly Festival Match Ambassador Cup will also be played between Ambassador XI and Community XI on the same ground from 7:30pm. Spectators and families are welcome to enjoy cricket, while many lucky draw prizes will also be given away on Friday.
