His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a telephone conversation yesterday with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel. The Emir congratulated Diaz-Canel on the assumption of the presidency and wished him well. They also discussed the friendly relations and co-operation between the two countries and ways to develop them, as well as discussing a number of issues of joint interest.
