HEC Paris has announced that registrations have begun for the next intake of the Specialised Master’s in Business Unit Management (SBUM) degree programme, which starts in July.
The updated version of the programme includes a core curriculum, professional thesis writing and the flexibility to customise the programme by following one of three tracks aligned to participants’ career aspirations: General Management, Marketing & Sales or Human Resources (HR) Management.
The 18-month programme is designed for professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to enhance their leadership and management skills or looking at managing their own business.
“With the new programme architecture, we will be able to serve Qatar even better. The three tracks on General Management, Marketing & Sales, and HR will allow leaders and managers in Qatar to tailor their learning journey even more,” said Dr Wolfgang Amman, academic director of the programme.
The General Management track is a learning journey from the perspective of a business unit manager. It allows participants to gain an in-depth understanding of different business environments and leadership skills exploring strategies for success.
The Marketing & Sales track will enable participants to design, lead and execute innovative solutions to boost marketing and sales performance.
Participants following the HR Management track will learn to design, direct and implement best practices to steer HR departments. They will also discover how to drive employee engagement and contribute to corporate and national visions.
A team of experts led by Dr Amman will guide participants through the core curriculum that will give them the opportunity to learn international best practices and focus on areas of key importance for their personal and professional development.
Participants will benefit from the valuable interaction with the world-renowned HEC Paris faculty, including Professor Francois Railliet, who will lead the HR Management track, and Professor Christopher Hogg, who will lead the Marketing & Sales track.
An information session will be held on April 25 at the HEC Paris Doha Campus in Tornado Tower.  The interactive event will include detailed information on the programme, the admissions process and financing options followed by Q&A round.
Prospective SBUM participants will be able to meet the admissions team and book an appointment ahead of the next intake.
The next intake for the revamped SBUM programme will be in July. For further details, one can contact [email protected]
