Prime Minister honours winners of Tarsheed competition

Under the patronage of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HE the Prime Minister and Minister Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani opened yesterday evening the Sixth Anniversary of the National Programme for Conservation and Energy Efficiency (Tarsheed). Organised by the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corp (Kahramaa), the ceremony was attended by a number of their excellencies ministers, and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Qatar. A  documentary film was screened on the culture of rationalisation and the importance of spreading awareness among the members of society to preserve resources and reduce waste. The Prime Minister distributed prizes to the winners of the competitions organised by Kahramaa for all members of society to contribute to spreading the concepts of rationalisation and its objectives.
