Ooredoo announced yesterday that it will be the Official Telecom Partner of the Doha Diamond League on May 4 at Qatar Sports Club.
The event, which opens the annual IAAF Diamond League season for track and field stars, will see a host of the world’s top-ranked male and female athletes compete for glory. 
Apart from international Olympic and world champions, Team Qatar will be represented at this year’s event by world champion Mutaz Barshim, 2017 world bronze medallist Abdalleleh Haroun, 2017 Doha Diamond League winner Abderrahman Samba, and Olympian and world championship finalist Ahmed Bader Magour.
Talking about the event, Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, Director of PR and Corporate Communications, Ooredoo Qatar, said, “We’re delighted to be supporting such a prestigious event for Qatar and helping ensure a world-class competition is held. This is the latest in a line of sporting events Ooredoo will support in 2018, as the company continue to invest in inspiring Qatar’s people to live active and healthy lives.
